Bake Parlor Recipes TVC 2013

Being a Pakistani our taste buds are not accustomed to authentic tastes. We love to spice up all kinds of cuisine and add our specialized desi touch. The brand Bake Parlor has taken this insight a step further ahead and introduced range of desi recipe pastas. Although this product range is pretty old now, the new advertisement has introduced new additions to the range.
The problem
Why would a chef want something like this product? Isn’t the purpose of being a chef is to innovate and create something out of the scratch?
The long story is making the transition from point A to B extremely confusing and the entire ad a drag.  The background music instead of complimenting is distracting. The point of any food product ad should be to make one feel hungry. This failed to do.

Lays Chat Street Ad 2013

This ad is living proof of fact that no matter how good you are aesthetically and no matter how much advanced technology you use to create an ad, if the concept sucks the Ad Will Suck as well. Horrible acting. Pakistan in desperate need of acting schools !

Main Shahid Afridi Hoon the Movie

I really am happy for the revival of cinema but seriously What the HELL?! Typical Stereotypes, image of a fantasy Pakistan and zarorat sey zyada filmi action. Never to judge a book by it's cover but these images are highly disappointing. I wish Pakistan would open an acting academy so we have good actors for not only movies but dramas and ads as well.

Dettol Shahid Afridi Ad 2013 Pakistan

  • Dettol chose Shahid Afridi has their new brand ambassador. In the ad it feels like Afridi and the kids are preparing us for war lol. Brand conveyed the message of fight against germs although in an over exaggerated manner, however good job your brand communication is clear. And it is the jingle which gives the going on war feel to the ad.

Awkward Weather

The awkward moment for the official website of Pakistan Meteorology Dept, when their website is advertising ads for sarees. Soch samjh kar ad space dena chahye bhai.

National Ketchup Ad 2013

Thank God for this ad !! Pakistan main bhi acha kam horaha hai on ads. The jingle is extremely catchy and visually the ad is an eye candy. Although the story line is pretty simple, it shows how much the ad has been worked upon.

Tapal Ramadan Ad 2013

Who the hell talks like that?! Show me one.. I say one married couple talking like that and I will leave advertising. Good job visually though.

Olpers Ramadan Ad 2013

Visually the ad couldn't have been any more beautiful. But I see a huge disconnect within the ad. There is too much going on in the ad. The concept is not put together well and the rapid change of music is making it more confusing. It could have been lot more better in terms of bringing the story together. Coke Ramadan Advertisement Pakistan 2013

Coke continues to do good work. However this ad failed to give me the goose bumps effect which I guess it was meant to achieve by the score and art direction. Something lacked. Maybe it was how the story progressed. There was no beginning, middle or the end.
